Abstract

This study has attempted to predict the demand for beds of nursing home facilities in Korea. The variables in this study were surveyed in I ncheon area.
In order to forcast the beds of long-term care institution three levels of care are defined. Level I care is provided for the persons with functional disabilities requiring 24-hour living arrangement in a safe and appropriate environment. Level U care should be provided for persons with multiplicity of social and health problems resulting in a level of necessitating 24-hour care in a safe environment.
